​My passion for translation stems from a deep appreciation for different cultures and the art of storytelling. Through translation, I aim to connect readers with narratives beyond their native languages. Below are the works I’ve had the privilege to translate.

Minyak Anjing presents short stories from various countries and depicting diverse human experiences. Ibu dan Anak portrays the harrowing experiences of a young widow, Seungho’s mother, in 1930s Manchuria. Following her husband’s death, she becomes homeless and destitute, struggling to care for her ailing son, Seungho. The narrative delves into her desperate search for shelter amidst societal indifference, highlighting the profound challenges faced by impoverished women during that era.

Winner of the 12th Munhakdongne Youth Literature Award, this novel follows a teenager striving to break free from their past and find meaning in relationships with those around them. Set against the backdrop of youth life, the story explores themes of growth, relationships, and the search for identity.
